Tromping traverses
not even rehearsing
spying fringes of icicles
rainbows of light
glissading down gulleys
and climbing up jugs
titanium ice screws
they're snug as a bug
Adirondack ice-man
is on the go
his axe is ready
take a heave and a ho!
